Safe speed monitors with SIL3/PLe and SIL2/PLd certification

In industrial applications, there is often a high risk for people and machines. In these cases it is necessary and required by law to meet certain safety criteria in order to reduce these risks. This is exactly where the DS series speed monitors come into play. These are used to monitor under-frequencies, over-frequencies, the direction of rotation and the standstill of machines. With their SIL3 / PLe and SIL2 / PLd certifications according to the standards DIN 61508 and ISO 13849, the safety relays guarantee maximum safety and reliability.

DS260: Safe speed monitor for incremental encoders / sensors

Safe speed monitor for incremental encoders / sensors for monitoring ramps, underspeed, overspeed, standstill and direction of rotation, with line break monitoring of the sensor signals. Up to SIL3/PLe with an equally certified sensor.

Design like DS260, but up to SIL3/PLe with two independent, non-certified sensors and with 2 incremental encoder inputs.

BG200: Attachable display and adjustment module

The BG200 display device is used for the motrona safety devices of the DS series. It has a large number of visualization functions and, thanks to its intuitive operation, can be used quickly, easily and flexibly. The BG200 offers the following features on the safety:
- Two-channel frequency display
- Individually scalable for e.g. B. speeds, production rates, etc.
- Representation of operating mode and error mode

DS240: Safe speed monitor with SinCos encoder input, signal distributor

The safe speed monitors for SinCos sensors are ideally suited for monitoring the direction of rotation, standstill, underspeed and overspeed.

-1 encoder input in the format SIN+, SIN-, COS+, COS- [1 Vss]

Design like DS240, but without signal splitter.

DS230: Safe speed monitor with multifunction inputs for HTL, RS422, SinCos sensors
and signal distributors

Same design as DS240, but with a different input configuration.
