The position monitors are able to determine actual values ​​such as speed, direction of rotation and standstill and compare them with specified target values. In the event of an unwanted movement, the devices trigger a programmed error message. These safety relays are therefore suitable for monitoring and avoiding misalignment, broken shafts, torsion and slip, among other things.
