The product range is available with a wide range of input voltage options, from the standard 110 – 240VAC through to 30V – 60VAC options that can provide output voltage down to 24VDC. The 340/680/1220 Series is an ideal low-cost drive solution to control small brushed or permanent magnet DC motors.
The 340/680/1220 series DC Drive provides effortless control of motors up to 1.8kW in a footprint from just 35mm x 105mm. The compact DIN rail-mounting package uses less panel space than conventional chassis mount drives. Each drive comes with easy to access drive adjustments together with plug-on screw terminals for easy installation.
The 340/680/1220 series DC Drive is available with a single phase 110V – 240VAC input voltage option (for output voltages 90V - 180VDC), or alternatively comes with a 30V – 60VAC input option (for up to 24V - 48VDC output. An ideal match for most common small DC motor windings.
Available in non-isolated 1Q, isolated 1Q and 4Q options, the 340/680/1220 series provides a wide range of options for any budget. The 4 Quadrant variant (XRi) regenerative DC motor controller gives a fast controlled response over the full forward/reverse speed range for motoring and braking. This improves energy efficiency by regenerating energy into the mains supply whilst under braking. The energy invested accelerating the load mass is recovered when braking. There is no dissipation of energy in wasteful braking resistors.
